How to get to Vallouise

Travel

Apartment Eyrie is located in the Haute Alpes Department in south east France and is best reached either by car or a combination of plane & car, however it is possible to travel by rail or bus.

The nearest airport is Turin, which has daily scheduled flights from London with British Airways. Apartment Eyrie is approximately 2 hours drive from the airport. Or fly to Marseille from where the apartment is only 3 hours drive. A hire car can be picked up at the airport on arrival or ordered in advance.

By Train

There are stations at Briancon, Argentiere La Besse and Oulx. Oulx is served by the TGV from Paris to Turin. There is a bus service that meets the TGV and runs between Oulx and Briancon. See http://www.autocar-resalp.com/ for more information and times. There is also daily overnight train from Paris to Briancon, which stops at Argentiere La Besse.

By Coach

A bus service connects with the TGV at Oulx (see train information above). There are regular coach services between Grenoble and Briancon, the www.vfd.fr site (LER35) provides more detail.
